Whats good? I'm Josh

           I’ll get the boring logistical stuff out of the way before we jump to what you actually care about, this blog is for you to enjoy, but I need at least some recognition, so with that little disclaimer out of the way: Hello, my name is Josh Conturo; I’m a student at Capital University majoring in Emerging Media with an emphasis in Journalism, as well as minoring in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. But as I said, I know don’t care about that. You want to know why you should listen to what I have to say.

            Well, here we go. I have wanted to be an automotive journalist for some time now, about a year or so. I have been an avid reader of car magazines from all over the world, including but not limited to TopGear, Car and Driver, and MotorTrend, for years and have been a car fanatic for much longer. This passion, like many others I presume, arose from Need for Speed video games and watching TopGear for hours on end. This means I know and care about my writings. Having been so exposed to the community and culture surrounding cars, I noticed a trend-that technically, this stuff can pretty boring to average folk. So, being the empathetic and caring (not to mention, extremely humble) person I am, I had a thought: “instead of going on about numbers and technical stuff nobody cares about, let’s talk about people’s emotions because that is what people care about.” Combine my love of people and my love of cars, and here we are.

             I'm also a huge fan of rap and Hip/Hop music, as well as fashion and culture, somethings that will probably get featured on this blog also, just not to the same degree, this is a car website after all.
